March 14th at 4PM (Doors open at 3 PM)
In memory of the March 11th, 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami, we are having a film screening of a number of films we made after 3.11. Our first film was shot in Ishinomaki in October of the same year. We visited the people in our first film every year until Covid. We have a film shot one year later, and another the following year. We also ventured into Fukushima to film in the exclusion zone around the plant and tell the stories of the people

2011年3月11日の東日本大震災と津波を記憶に刻むため、私たちは3.11後に制作した数本の映画を上映します。最初の作品は同年10月に石巻で撮影されました。コロナ禍まで毎年、最初の作品に登場した人々を訪ね続けました。1年後に撮影した作品、さらに翌年に撮影した作品もあります。また、福島へ赴き、原発周辺の立入禁止区域で撮影を行い、残った人々の物語を伝えました。その後、笑いと涙を見出す人々を探しに再び訪れました。
ジェフリー・ジョ-サン、イヴァン・コヴァック、ポール・リチャード・ヨハネセンの3名の良き友人たちが参加します。ポールはノルウェーからZoomで、イヴァンはスタジオに登壇します。作品上映後、制作陣が制作意図や体験を共有します。終了後には会場参加者とYouTubeチャットでの質疑応答を予定しています。
震災から数ヶ月後でさえ、被災者は「私を忘れないで」と訴えていました。15年経った今、私たちは彼らを忘れてしまったのでしょうか？
会場へのご来場を歓迎しますが、YouTubeでの視聴も可能です。

アート＆クリエイティビティ月間は終了しましたが、盛り上がりはまだまだ続きます。ライブパフォーマンスとフリージャムセッションで締めくくるパーティーほど、この月を締めくくるのにふさわしいものはありません。
まずは素晴らしいマンディ・ワンによるピアノ＆ボーカルパフォーマンス、続いてドクター・J＆ザ・エレメンツ（ハーマン・バルテレン、デイビッド・ヨハンナーバー、ダニエル・クボタ、ジェフリー・ジョウサン）がジェフリーの新アルバム『You and Me... Us & Them』と往年の名曲を披露します。
その後は会場を開放し、誰でも参加できるジャムセッションを開催します。フルドラムセット、ギターアンプ2台、アコースティック＆エレキギター、キーボード、ベース、コンガ、タンバリンなどを用意。楽器やダンスシューズもお持ちください！
ドリンクと軽食を用意しますが、お持ち寄りも大歓迎です！

The month is over but we are still going strong. No better way to end the Art & Creativity Month than with a party with Live performances followed by a Free Jam session.
We will be joined by the amazing Mandy Wang for a piano and vocal performance, followed by Dr. J and the Elements (Herman Bartelen, David Johannaber, Daniel Kubota and Jeffrey Jousan) playing Jeffrey's New Album "You and Me... Us & Them" and some other old favorites.

3月7日（土）午後6時。ヒューマンアーツスタジオ主催「ワイントークス（日本語）」第6回開催！今回は一級建築士であり株式会社みんなの家の代表取締役である滝本康秀氏をお迎えします。同社は建築設計・企画・施工、リノベーション企画・施工を専門としています。彼は非常に創造的で柔軟な思考の持ち主であり、ヒューマンアーツスタジオという私たちの夢の実現に大きく貢献してくれました。彼のために特別なワインを用意しているほか、彼自身も何か特別なものを用意しているようです。ヒューマンアーツスタジオ建設における私たちのコラボレーションや、彼の会社のプロジェクト（彼はプロジェクトで輸送用コンテナを活用する可能性を非常に気に入っています）についてお話しします。また、創造的なアイデアと建築規制のバランスを探ることも楽しみにしています。

This time we will be joined by Yasuhide Takimoto, a Licensed Architect (1st grade) and the Representative Director of Minnanoie Co., Ltd. His company focuses on Architectural design, planning, and construction and Renovation planning and construction. He is super creative and flexible and he was super helpful in realizing our dream of the Human Arts Studio.

ヒューマン・アーツ・スタジオ主催 第5回ワイン・トークス！2月21日（木）午後6時より開催。つくば在住のデボラ・グロウ氏をゲストにお迎えします。作家、歌手、ソングライター、教師、講演者、声優と、多才な才能を持つデボラ・グロウ氏。ニューヨークでオフ・ブロードウェイ公演やオペラ、全国放送のテレビCMに出演した経験を持つデボラは、現在は音楽と英語を通じて日本の子供たちを支援する活動に没頭しています。児童向け書籍や楽曲制作に加え、順天堂大学で英語を教えています。
日本での生活や創作活動について、ぜひお話を伺いたいと思います。

Saturday, February 21st 6 PM. Human Arts Studio presents the Fifth edition of Wine Talks! we will be joined by Tsukuba's own Deborah Grow. Adept at wearing many hats, Deborah Glow is an author, singer, songwriter, teacher, speaker, and voice over actor. After spending many years in New York City, where she performed in Off-Broadway shows, operas and national television commercials, Deborah now is absorbed in helping children in Japan through music and English.
